• Launching the round of 2012 of the survey of monitoring social and economic conditions.
• Implementation of the first phase of the project for the rule of law and access to justice in cooperation
with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as part of activities to monitor ?governance
indicators, security and justice.
• Preparation for a special survey on indicators related to gender, youth and children.
• Providing data on around 60% of the indicators covered by this system to establish the base year for the system.
• Designing a database of the monitoring system within the appropriate software package.
Next steps could be concluded in continuing of data collection on the indicators and establishing and updating
the database for public use.

3.5 Data Quality
PCBS takes the issue of data quality very seriously and has developed tools to measure and improve the quality
of data, including:
1. Producing three high quality reports for statistical surveys.
2. Producing three reports on quality control procedures in statistical projects.
3. Receiving a technical mission on the application of the European Code of Practices (COP).
4. Testing of data of statistical survey.
5. Conducting three specialized studies of data quality.
6. Producing a self-evaluation report for project managers (DESAP).
7. Participating in a training course on in-depth statistical analysis.
8. Participating in a study visit on the duties of respondents.
9. Participating in a training course on quality control mechanisms.
