Signing ceremony of the agreement between PCBS
and General Prosecutor’s Office
4.1 Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding
PCBS signed several cooperation protocols with international bodies to support the implementation of statistical
activities with the following agencies: UNFPA, UNICEF, ESCWA and UNRWA.
At national level, PCBS signed memorandums of understanding with the Public Prosecution Office and the
Ministry of Environmental Affairs to cooperate in the provision of statistical data from administrative records.
PCBS also signed agreements with the Palestinian Hydrology Group, the Palestine Economic Policy Research
Institute (MAS) and the Municipal Development and Lending Fund, and Anti-Corruption Commission to
conduct a number of specialized statistical surveys. A joint memorandum of understanding was also signed among
PCBS and the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Transport and Communications regarding participation
in the initiative to share information technology resources.
