4.7 Core Funding Group (CFG)
CFG is the main source of funding for PCBS programs. CFG consists of the Swiss Agency for Development
(SDC) and the Representative Office of Norway, which is the main supporter of PCBS programs. In 2012, PCBS
co-signed a memorandum of understanding between the Palestinian National Authority, under the auspices of
Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad, and CFG to sponsor PCBS programs during 2012-2014. PCBS also signed,
in the presence of the Ministry of Planning, bilateral agreements between PCBS and the Representative Office of
Norway and the Swiss Agency for Development. CFG held its ninth annual meeting with PCBS on 07/23/2012,
as well as conducting its 10th semi-annual meeting on 12/12/2012.
