3. Data processing phase
The data processing phase includes data
verification, coding and data entry. This
phase began on 01/11/2012 and is expected
to continue until mid-January 2013.
PCBS issued a press release on 08/11/2012,
to announce the preliminary results of the
Establishments Census with figures by
governorate and regional level (the West
Bank and the Gaza Strip) and for Palestine.
4. Forthcoming phase
This will include the census outputs by
the end of the second quarter of 2013,
the preparation of the final report on
the results of the census in Palestine and
tabulation and revision of the data. In
addition, the establishments record will
be updated on the basis of the preview
of the census results and will be used
as a framework for economic surveys
conducted by PCBS, as well as by various
ministries, government institutions and
eligible civil, private and international
organizations for statistical purposes.
