6.9 Technical Consultancy and Training
PCBS is a well-respected and renowned institution. It shared its experience and expertise with other partner
institutions in a variety of fields during 2012. Two PCBS staff providing training and advisory services to the
following international bodies:
1. Training for Iraqi statistics professionals on census information.
2. Training for Iraqi statistics professionals on treating data for public use (PUF).
6.10 Delegations and Visitors
PCBS received a number of delegations from prominent national and foreign institutions to discuss the prospects
for bilateral cooperation. These delegations were given tours of PCBS facilities and the country.
