Decrease in the Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine during May, 05/2026

The overall IPI in Palestine reached 75.79 during May 2026 with a decrease of 1.15% compared to April 2026 (Base Year 2019 = 100).

IPI for May 2026 decreased due to the decrease in the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 7.98%, which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry, the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 4.56%, which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry, the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 0.54%, which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry, and the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 0.16%, which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry.

Notice for Users:
Due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza strip in October 2023, no working institution in the industrial production was engaged in any production activity in Gaza strip for May 2025.
