Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank*
during April, 04/2026

Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 120.94 with an increase of 2.28% during April 2026 compared with March 2026             (base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment sharply increased by 11.27%, and the prices of raw material increased by 3.21%. While, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during April 2026 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 119.78 with an increase of 2.17% during April 2026 compared with March 2026                     (base year 2013=100).
  
At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment sharply increased by 10.79%, and the prices of raw material increased by 3.04%. While, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during April 2026 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings in the West Bank* reached 118.78 with an increase of 3.82% during April 2026 compared with March 2026                              (Base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment sharply increased by 11.22%, and the prices of raw material sharply increased by 5.44%. While, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during April 2026 compared with the previous month.

Sharp increase in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank* reached 126.26 with a sharp increase of 12.34% during April 2026 compared with March 2026 (Base month December 2008=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of operating costs of equipment and maintenance sharply increased by 23.86%, the prices of rental of equipment sharply increased by 19.55%, and the prices of raw material sharply increased by 13.33%. While, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during April 2026 compared with the previous month.

Sharp increase in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank* reached 132.83 with a sharp increase of 7.11% during April 2026 compared with March 2026 (Base month   January 2010=100).

Water Networks Cost Index reached 139.61 with a sharp increase of 7.62% during April 2026 compared with March 2026, and Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 117.93 with a sharp increase of 5.82% during April 2026 compared with March 2026. 
 

Sharp increase in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* reached 120.24 with a sharp increase of 6.80% during April 2026 compared with March 2026 (Base month   January 2010=100).

2.    The difference in the percentage change in major groups of roads, construction, water networks, and sewage networks cost index is due to the nature compositions of these major groups.
