Decrease in the Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine during March, 03/2026

The overall IPI in Palestine reached 72.64 during March 2026 with a decrease of 6.18% compared to February 2026 (Base Year 2019 = 100).

IPI for March 2026 decreased due to the decrease in the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 7.16%, which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry, and the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 2.30%, which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry. While, the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation increased by 1.19%, which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry, and the activities of Mining and Quarrying increased by 0.74%, which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry.

Notice for Users:

Due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza strip in October 2023, no working institution in the industrial production was engaged in any production activity in Gaza strip for March 2025.
