Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 118.24 with a decrease of 0.20% during   March 2026 compared with February 2026 (base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of the labour costs and wages decrease by 0.79%. While, the prices of raw material and the prices of rental of equipment slightly increased by 0.09% for each of them during March 2026 compared with the previous month.

Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 117.24 with a decrease of 0.19% during  March 2026 compared with February 2026 (base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of the labour costs and wages decrease by 0.79%. While, the prices of raw material slightly increased by 0.08%, and the prices of rental of equipment slightly increased by 0.05% during March 2026 compared with the previous month.

Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings in the West Bank* reached 114.41 with a decrease of 0.56% during March 2026 compared with February 2026 (Base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of the labour costs and wages decrease by 1.56%, and the prices of raw material decrease by 0.11%.While, the prices of rental of equipment slightly increased by 0.09% during March 2026 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Road Cost Index (RCI)

The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank* reached 112.39 with an increase of 0.49% during March 2026 compared with February 2026 (Base month December 2008=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of operating costs of equipment and maintenance increased by 2.35%, the prices of the labour costs and wages increased by 1.67%, and the prices of raw material increased by 0.38%. While, the prices of rental of equipment remained stable during March 2026 compared with the previous month.

Decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)

The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank* reached 124.01 with a decrease of 0.55% during March 2026 compared with February 2026 (Base month   January 2010=100).

Water Networks Cost Index reached 129.72 with a decrease of 0.67% during March 2026 compared with February 2026, and Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 111.44 with a decrease of 0.22% during March 2026 compared with February 2026. 

Decrease in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)

The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* reached 112.58 with a decrease of 0.68% during March 2026 compared with February 2026 (Base month January 2010=100).

Notice:

1.   Gaza Strip data is not available.

2.   The difference in the percentage change in major groups of roads, construction, water networks, and sewage networks cost index is due to the nature compositions of these major groups.

*Data exclude those parts of Jerusalem, which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.
