A decrease in Registered* Exports and Imports in Goods
in April, 04/2023 compared to the previous month.
Exports in Goods
Exports decreased in April, 2023 by 25% compared to March, 2023. While it increased by 1% compared to April, 2022 and reached USD 112.4 Million.
Exports to Israel decreased in April, 2023 by 24% compared to March, 2023 and it represented 87% of total exports in April, 2023.
At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 26% during the same period compared to March, 2023.
Imports in Goods
Imports decreased in April, 2023 by 21% compared to March, 2023. It also decreased by 13% compared to April, 2022 and reached USD 581.2 Million.
Imports from Israel decreased by 14% in April, 2023 compared to March, 2023 and it represented 59% of total imports in April, 2023.
At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 29% compared to March, 2023.
Trade Balance on Registered Goods
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 20% in April, 2023 compared to March, 2023. It also decreased by 15% compared to April, 2022 and reached USD 468.8 Million.
