Preliminary Results of the Palestinian Registered* External Trade in Goods of August, 08/2018.


Exports in Goods:
Exports decreased in August, 2018 by 2.3% compared to July, 2018. It also decreased by 2.9% compared to August, 2017 and reached USD 89 Million.

Exports to Israel slightly decreased in August, 2018 by 0.4% compared to July, 2018 and it represented 92.5% of total exports in August, 2018.

At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 21.2% during the same period compared to July, 2018.

Imports in Goods:
Imports increased in August, 2018 by 1.2% compared to July, 2018. While it slightly decreased by 0.2% compared to August, 2017 and reached USD 493.6 Million.
 
Imports from Israel increased by 9.3% in August, 2018 compared to July, 2018 and it represented 58.8% of total imports in August, 2018.
On the other hand, imports from other countries decreased by 8.5% compared to July, 2018.

Net Trade Balance on Registered Goods:
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 2% in August, 2018 compared to July, 2018. It also slightly increased by 0.4% compared to August, 2017 and reached USD 404.6 Million.
