An increase in Trade Balance Deficit for Registered* Goods by 13%

in January, 01/2026 compared to January 2025.

 

Exports in Goods

Exports increased in January, 2026 by 22% compared to January, 2025 and reached USD 171.2 Million. 

Exports to Israel increased in January, 2026 by 26% compared to January, 2025 and it represented 93% of total exports in January, 2026.

On the other hand, exports to other countries decreased by 15% during the same period compared to January, 2025.

Imports in Goods

Imports increased in January, 2026 by 15% compared to January, 2025 and reached USD 710.4 Million.

Imports from Israel increased by 26% in January, 2026 compared to January, 2025 and it represented 61% of total imports in January, 2026.

At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 1% compared to January, 2025.


Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, showed an increase in trade deficit by 13% in January, 2026 compared to January, 2025 and reached USD 539.2 Million.
