Consumer Price Index (CPI) during July, 07/2025
Continued increase in consumer prices in Gaza Strip in light of the resumption of the Israeli aggression and the limited number of commercial trucks allowed to enter through commercial crossings
The resumption of the Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip and the limited number of commercial trucks allowed to enter through commercial crossings into Gaza Strip resulted in the loss of many basic commodities in Gaza Strip markets, due to the continued ban on their access into Gaza Strip during July 2025. Thus, the Consumer Price Index recorded a sharp increase of 6.08% in Gaza Strip compared to June 2025, and a slight increase of 0.07% in Jerusalem J1*, while it recorded a decrease of 0.53% in the West Bank**. This led to an increase of 3.78% in the overall Consumer Price Index in Palestine.
The changes in Palestinian CPI during July 2025 were traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during July 2025 increased by 59.35% compared with July 2024 (127.87% in Gaza Strip, 2.09% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.21% in the West Bank**).
