Palestinian Consumer Price Index, March, 03/2015

 

Increase in the CPI during March 2015 compared with previous month

 

The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during March 2015 increased by 0.60% compared with February 2015 (by 1.74% in Gaza Strip, 0.68% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.44% in the West Bank).

 

The CPI during March 2015 increased by 0.95% compared with March 2014 (by 2.42% in Gaza Strip, while it decreased by 0.31% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.24% in the West Bank).

 

The CPI during the first three months of 2015 increased by 0.58% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 1.24% in Gaza Strip, while it decreased by 0.60% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.52% in the West Bank).

 

The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for March 2015 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
