Consumer Price Index (CPI) during January, 01/2026
Increase in the consumer price index in Palestine as a result of the increase in the prices of Cigarettes, fresh vegetable and fruit, and Potatoes during January 2026
The overall Consumer Price Index CPI for Palestine during January 2026 recorded an increase by 1.11% compared with December 2025 (1.42% in Gaza Strip, by 1.04% in the West Bank**, and by 0.59% in Jerusalem J1*).
The changes in Palestinian CPI during January 2026 were traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during January 2026 decreased by 14.39% compared with January 2025 (36.49% in Gaza Strip, while it increased by 2.95% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 1.75% in the West Bank**).
