Consumer Price Index (CPI) during, October, 10/2025

 
A sharp decline in consumer goods prices in the Gaza Strip during October 2025, following the ceasefire announcement led to a sharp decline in the Consumer Price Index in Gaza Strip by 40.42% compared to September 2025. While, the index increased in Jerusalem J1* by 0.36%, and by 0.17% in the West Bank**, this led to a decline in the overall Consumer Price Index in Palestine by 23.04%.
 

The changes in Palestinian CPI during October 2025 were traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during October 2025 decreased by 17.08% compared with October 2024 (31.25% in Gaza Strip, and by 1.32% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 1.71% in Jerusalem J1*)

*Data represent those parts of Jerusalem, which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.

**Data exclude those parts of Jerusalem, which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.
