Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* during June, 06/2025

Slight decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 121.24 with a slight decrease of 0.04% during June 2025 compared with May 2025 (base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 0.59%. While, the prices of the labour costs and wages increased by 0.66%, and the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.19% during June 2025 compared with the previous month.

Slight decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 120.10 with a slight decrease of 0.05% during June 2025 compared with May 2025 (base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 0.56%. While, the prices of the labour costs and wages increased by 0.66%, and the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.20% during June 2025 compared with the previous month.

Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings in the West Bank* reached 118.69 with a decrease of 0.29% during June 2025 compared with May 2025 (Base year 2013=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 1.21%. While, the prices of the labour costs and wages increased by 1.34%, and the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.19% during June 2025 compared with the previous month.

Decrease in the Road Cost Index (RCI)

The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank* reached 114.79 with a decrease of 0.41% during June 2025 compared with May 2025 (Base month December 2008=100).

At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 0.57%, the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 0.31%, the prices of operating costs of equipment and maintenance decreased by 0.30%, and the prices of the labour costs and wages slightly decreased by 0.08%  during June 2025 compared with the previous month.

Decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)

The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank* reached 132.00 with a decrease of 0.82% during June 2025 compared with May 2025 (Base month January 2010=100).

Water Networks Cost Index reached 138.90 with a decrease of 0.83%, and the Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 116.81 with a decrease of 0.79% during June 2025 compared with May 2025.

Slight decrease in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)

The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* reached 118.44 with a slight decrease of 0.09% during June 2025 compared with May 2025 (Base month January 2010=100).

2.   The difference in the percentage change in major groups of roads, construction, water networks, and sewage networks cost index is due to the nature compositions of these major groups.

*Data exclude those parts of Jerusalem, which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.
