An increase in Trade Balance Deficit for Registered* Goods by 9%

in May,  2025/05 compared to May 2024. 

Exports in Goods

Exports increased in May, 2025 by 23% compared to May, 2024 and reached USD 154.9 Million. 

Exports to Israel increased in May, 2025 by 22% compared to May, 2024 and it represented 90% of total exports in May, 2025.

At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 32% during the same period compared to May, 2024. 

Imports in Goods

Imports increased in May, 2025 by 12% compared to May, 2024 and reached USD 610.8 Million.

Imports from Israel increased by 3% in May, 2025 compared to May, 2024 and it represented 54% of total imports in May, 2025. 

At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 25% compared to May, 2024.

 

Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 9% in May, 2025 compared to May, 2024 and reached USD 455.9 Million.
