Definition
Sector:
It refers to the sector to which the establishment where persons work or used to work, if they are currently unemployed. The sector is categorized as follows:
1. Private national
It refers to cases in which a Palestinian individual or group of individuals possesses a minimum of 51% of the capital of the establishment, in which persons work or used to work.
2. Private foreign
It refers to cases in which a foreign individual or group of individuals possess a minimum of 51% of the capital of the establishment in which persons work or used to work.
3. National Government
It refers to the institutions belonging to the central government, local authorities, and public sector companies.
4. Foreign Government
It refers to the institutions belonging to a foreign government.
5. Non-profit organization (Charitable societies)
It refers to the institutions belonging to the charitable societies and any non-profit non - governmental organizations.
6. UNRWA
It refers to the institutions belonging to the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for the Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
7. International organization
It refers to the institutions belonging to the United Nations' diplomatic missions or any international or regional organizations other than (UNRWA).
8. Not in establishment (Outside establishments)
It applies when the persons do not work for any institution belonging to the aforementioned sectors.
