Description National statistical offices in most countries place heavy emphasis on constructing sound databases for all economic activities. PCBS initiated the economic surveys series in the reference year 1994. These series include surveys on the industry, services, internal trade,
construction-contractors, and transport and storage sectors. The sampling frame for the different economic surveys was based on the findings of the Establishment Census 2007 conducted by PCBS.
