Palestinian Producer Price Index, August, 08/2013 

Increase in the PPI during August 2013 

The overall Producer Price1 Index (PPI) for  Palestine with its base year (2011=100) reached 103.38 in August 2013, as it increased by 1.20% compared to July 2013. 

Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2011=100) reached 103.32 in August 2013, which indicates an increase by 1.32% compared to July 2013.

Producer Price Index for exported products (2011=100) reached 104.00 in August 2013, which indicates a decrease by 0.06% compared to July 2013.   

The changes of Producer Price Index for August 2013 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
