Decrease in the Consumer Price Index during April, 04/2017

 

 

The overall CPI for Palestine during April 2017 decreased by 0.50% compared with March 2017 (by 1.01% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 0.61% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.13% in Gaza Strip).

 

The changes in Palestinian CPI for April 2017 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during April 2017 increased by 0.86% compared with April 2016 (by 3.59% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.88% in the West Bank**, and by 0.80% in Gaza Strip).

 

The Palestinian CPI during the first four months of 2017 increased by 0.72% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 3.30% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.94% in the West Bank**, and by 0.35% in Gaza Strip).
