Palestinian Consumer Price Index, June, 06/2015

Slight Increase in the CPI during June 2015 compared with previous month

 

The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during June 2015 slightly increased by 0.05% compared with May 2015 (by 0.90% in the West Bank, 0.47% in Jerusalem J1*, while it decreased by 1.36% in Gaza Strip).

 

The CPI during June 2015 increased by 2.69% compared with June 2014 (by 2.81% in Gaza Strip, 2.52% in the West Bank, and by 1.76% in Jerusalem J1*).

 

The CPI during the first half of 2015 increased by 1.67% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 2.62% in Gaza Strip, 0.74% in the West Bank, and by 0.18% in Jerusalem J1*).

 

The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for June 2015 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
