Palestinian Consumer Price Index during March, 03/2014

The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during March 2014 decreased by 0.06% compared with February 2014 (decreased by 0.15% in the West Bank, and by 0.08% in Gaza Strip, while it increased by 0.26% in Jerusalem J1*).

The CPI during March 2014 increased by 2.58% compared with March 2013 (5.72% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 3.28% in the West Bank, and by 1.69% in Gaza Strip).

The CPI during the first Three months of 2014 increased by 2.19% compared with the same period of the previous year (4.93% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 3.01% in the West Bank, and by 1.43% in Gaza Strip).

The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March 2014 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared to the previous month:
