Jerusalem, capital of Palestine / Ramallah 28-3-2018 Wafa – H.E. President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, awards the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) with the Order of Merit and Golden Excellence.
On the margins of the Announcement Conference of the Preliminary Results of the Population, Housing and Establishments Census 2017, at Presidential HQ, H.E. the President awarded H.E. Ms. Ola Awad, President of PCBS, with the Gold Order of Merit and Excellence.

H.E. the President decided to award PCBS with the Gold Order of Merit and Excellence as a token of gratitude and appreciation for the national role of H.E. Ms. Awad and all staff of PCBS in strengthening the Palestinian Statistical System, which is set up on professional and independent foundations and a corner stone for state institutions towards building the independent State of Palestine and its capital, Jerusalem.
