The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2018 = 100) reached 93.75 in August 2020
The total expenditures on the tourism sector in Palestine reached approximately 9% of the GDP, which is about USD 1.5 billion, distributed into 89% on inbound tourism expenditures and 11% on domestic tourism.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings reached 105.83 with a slight increase of 0.03% in the West Bank* during August 2020 compared with July 2020
The overall CPI for Palestine during August 2020 Slightly Increased by 0.03% compared with July 2020
The number of employed persons decreased by 121 thousand in the 2nd quarter of 2020
The illiteracy rates decreased by 81% through the last two decades
A total of 1,217 building licenses were issued in the second quarter of 2020 which included 813 for new buildings.
USD 4,811.5 million the total of gross expenses, against USD 4,427.2 million of total of revenues, out of which 12% are foreign grants and aids
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 142.60 during July 2020 with an increase of 6.76% compared to June 2020
